An explaination of the colon hydrotherapy treatment will be given along with the insertion process of the small, sterile, disposable modern tube. The rectal tube is so small that it can be easily and discreetly ‘self inserted’ (if desired) in privacy before the treatment starts.
This unique ‘open system’ technique enables our clients to maintain the utmost dignity, comfort and control at all times. You will then be given a fresh disposable gown to change into in complete privacy. Once you are lying comfortably on the bed and covered by a large soft towel, the therapist will return to the room to start the treatment. She will remain in the room with you until the session ends.
A gentle and safe regulated inflow of warm filtered water is then introduced through the ‘pencil sized’, sterile and disposable, rectal tube. The warm water passes through three separate filters, ensuring that only the purest of water is used during the treatment. The temperature of the water is safely regulated throughout the colon hydrotherapy treatment for your comfort.
The soothing effect of introducing the warm water into the colon will naturally stimulate the bodies own sensation to want to evacuate the contents of the large colon (lower bowel). Gentle massage is administered throughout the treatment. You will then be able to release the warm water and along with it, any faecal matter, toxins and trapped gases whenever your body feels the desire to do so. The procedure does not hurt at all and there are no unpleasant odours or dash to the toilet at the end of the session.
