* Why Take Them?
Probiotics are very important to our digestion system. They are most beneficial during an infection, especially sore throats, for those with food poisoning, irritable bowel syndrome and other inflammatory bowel problems e.g. Crohn’s or colitis, constipation, candida or any digestive disturbance, after a course of antibiotics, after surgery and at times of prolonged stress and after colonic hydrotherapy treatment. * How Does it Work?
These ‘good bacteria’, principally two families of bacteria called the Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria, to a large extent keep the bad guys under control. They do this by both consuming the nutrients that would otherwise feed the harmful bacteria and also by blocking receptor sites those bad bacteria have to latch onto to cause an infection. However, the main way probiotics protect you is by producing substances such as lactic acid and hydrogen peroxide that stop harmful bacteria from growing.
Probiotics powder from ANP contains Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidus infantis, longum and brevis in a powder form ideal for children and adults who dislike taking capsules.
